If you’re training for a big event or looking to just get fit for the upcoming season, our training schedule can be altered and adjusted to suit anyone - we like to include everyone in our sessions.

Hamish Lovemore
Hamish grew up on the rivers and in the oceans of South Africa. He has been on countless adventures throughout Africa and beyond. His passion for people, paddling and the outdoors is evident in each and every one of Zini Camps.
A world-class athlete and an even better host, Hamish personally extends an invitation to elite paddlers across the globe to join him on training camp in Mtunzini, Zululand (DBN) - South Africa.
To a good friend, who offered me the privilege of being part of the Zini squad, and beyond. It is associated with my best memories. Hope to share many more, on the water or not!

Going to Zini, and to South Africa in general, was one of the best dicisions i made in a very long time. Not only did become a better athlete - I felt like i also grew socially and emotionally. Travelling so far from home (even though it was with Valdemar) can be daunting, but the setting of Zini made everyone feel welcome, and it was as if there was room for us all.
Even after returning from the training camp, i felt like everyone was still connected - which is probably why a lot of us have also met up since.
All in all - Zini camps was an amazing experience, and i can't wait to be back sometime soon. Thank you Hamish for the opportunity ❤️

When Csanad first told me about Zini camp I was nervous about a lot of things! But when we arrived Hamish told us we don't have to worry because it is always 10/10!
In the camp we made a lot of new friends and a lot of progress in the boat. Also, I know a lot more about South Africa now! For example, about the animal world and how to surf.
I am grateful for the whole experience and I would recommend it for everyone! Team Zini!

The Zini experience, kayaking and safari have been one of the best things in my life so far and I definitely made the right choice to come since 2023. I loved the braai's, surf lessons in the pool and K2 sessions with Hamish (where we obviously won the sprint finish ).
